DIY Photo Frame

Hey! Today I’m going to teach how to make this super easy diy photo frame! 😊

What you will need:

  • Ruler
  • Colored papers
  • Cutter
  • Scissors
  • Pencil
  • Glue
  • String
  • Wooden clips

Let’s get started!

Note: I used a different paper in this tutorial (a cardboard) which made it quite hard for me to cut so I’m sorry in advance if it doesn’t look good in the end.

Step 1: Draw the guidelines. 10x10cm on the bigger square then 7x7cm on the smaller square. The pencil markings may not look equal but when it’s time for me to cut them, I make sure they’re equal. 🙂

Step 2: Cut the paper using scissors.

Step 3: Cut the smaller square using a cutter. Again, I’m sorry if it’s not a flawless cut. It’s a cardboard. And afterwards, fold the other part of the paper as shown below.

Step 4: Apply glue as shown below. Then fold it and apply some again.

Step 5: You’re done!

I swear it looks better if you use an ordinary colored paper than using thich papers or cardboards 😔 anyway, when you’re done, just insert the photo on the frame then attach it to the string using the wooden clips then you’re done!

Papemelroti: 200PHP Haul

Hey! 👋🏼 yesterday, I shopped for some stuff and I figured to make a blog post about it. It’s nothing grand, but I’d like to publish an appreciation post of how cute Papemelroti is!

Papemelroti is one of my fave gift shops. It features tons and tons of cute home decors, stationeries, frames, gifts, decorative accessories and other awesome stuff that you’ll definitely love. 💕 most of their products are earth friendly or recycled (one reason that I love Papemelroti) and hand-made. The store’s ambiance is so good and everything’s Instagram-able. Unfortunately, I couldn’t take pictures of the store since there are many people inside. 😐

So long story short, yesterday, I had an extra 200 pesos to spend for myself. I wanted to save it but I thought that I would go and window shop at Papemelroti (LOL) but I ended up spending my money! And here are the items that I’ve purchased with my last 200 pesos yesterday:

Here are the items along with their prices:

1. Cute Small Box (39.00PHP)

I love boxes and jars or any sort of containers and you don’t know how many boxes I have in my room, I just love them! So I didn’t think twice of purchasing another box and I thought it’s a good container for some of my makeups. 💕

2. Craft Cuts (15.00PHP)

These craft cuts are perfect for scrapbooking or just simply labelling stuff in your home. All you have to do is simply cut the designs, write on them then put them wherever you want!

3. Unicorn Earplug Jack (39.00PHP)

This cute earplug jack ornament is all your phone needed to look classy and majestic! But it’s not just an ornament, it prevents dirt to enter your earplug jack!

4. Pins (25.00PHP each)

Pins could never go wrong with any bag, it’s perfect for canvas bags or bagpacks! The first pin that I bought says, “In Everything Give Thanks” which I loved because I’m definitely thankful for almost everything in this world then the second pin says, “Climb Mountains” which triggered my adventurous side but I’m planning to give it to my boyfriend since he and his friends hike a lot. But hey, there are tons of designs to choose from!

5. Bookmark (5.00PHP)

I read books a lot so bookmark’s a must and I’ve chosen this design since it’s earth friendly and I’ve always loved the idea of planting trees. Did I also mention that Papemelroti’s products are 100% earth friendly or recycled?

6. 2017 Planner (20.00PHP)

I LOVE PUGS. I don’t care if it’s September, as long as it has a pug in it, I’m going to buy it! I know it’s quite early for 2017 planners, but hey, it has a pug in it.

7. No More Procrastinating Stationery Pad (16.00PHP)

I need this so much since I’m such a procrastinator. When I stumbled upon this pad, I knew I had to buy it. I always cram and procrastinate that’s why I think this pad could be useful and helpful for me! Plus, the layout is so cute!

So there are the items that I purchased with my 200 pesos. I spent 184 pesos only, which leaves me 16 pesos (I could buy another stationery!) One thing I loved about Papemelroti is that their price is reasonable and affordable! I hope you enjoyed this 200 pesos haul and I will be back for another Papemelroti: 500 pesos haul next time! Leave a message below for questions and comments. Bye! 💕
